You can find our children’s library on the ground floor of the library building, awaiting you with more than 15 thousand books, 13 different kinds of magazines, 250 LPs, cassettes and videofilms. You can use a separate music section where you can listen to cassettes, LPs, music CDs or you can watch the films of our video library. The multimedia-corner offers a possibility to improve your English or German knowledge, find out more information about different sciences with the help of CD-ROMs, and naturally, you can look into the wonderful world of tales too.

 If you want to be able to enjoy these facilities, you should join the library. Anyone can be a member of the library until the age of 14. Enrolment is free of charge, only the approval of the parents and the student card is necessary. The membership is valid for one year from the date of enrolment. Each member has a library card which you should bring with you every time. All the services, that can be used with the library card, are free of charge.

We categorized the stock of the library according to a defined system. This way it is easy to find what we are looking for. The books are sorted by topics and are placed in alphabetical order to make it easy to find them. In the reading room you can browse through newspapers, magazines and books that you cannot borrow. If necessary you can use the adults’ reference library too.
