German reading room
In 1994, with the help of Goethe Institute, we established our German reading room with 15 different kinds of periodicals and 5000 documents selected from the last twenty years of publishing in Germany. The continuously updated, unique stock is one of the ten Hungarian collections that can be found in the partner libraries of Goethe Institute. 
With the help of our stock visitors can find out more about the cultural, literary, political, and social life in Germany. We assist the German language learning with our collection. The nearly 4000 volumes of books (more than 3000 for lending) supply a huge choice of general and specialized encyclopedias, natural and social sciences, arts, literature, language, and history related topics, also of the modern German belles-lettres. The more than 500 casettes contain language lessons, and also the adaptation of literary works. Our books and acoustic documents are searchable in the online catalogue of the library. Use of the German reading room on the premises is free of charge, lending and other services are only available with a valid library card. (The registration fee is 2000,- HUF/year) Lending due dates:
