Mission declaration
The aim of János Mogyoróssy Town Library as a general collection public library is to be one centre of the intellectual life of the town with the continuously extended services, in accordance with the local demands, with the versatility of its collections, with up-to-date technical background, with high standard informational work. As a base institute of the knowledge-based society it considers its mission to provide accessibility for everyone to the mental possessions collected throughout human history, without any discrimination regarding financial status or social ranking, poltical or religious belief, ethnic affiliation. It strives to make distant databases available for user information besides the local collections and to make available the collections of other libraries too. It also supports:
